Dying of Boredom, Editing Blog

Today is Thursday April 2nd, 2020. Today is just an off day. I woke up at 9. Left the house at 9:40. Took my skateboard with me and skateboarded about 6 blocks to get me some breakfast. Repeated again an hour later but getting to the place around 11 am. There was a lot of people their and they were giving out both breakfast and lunch. I don’t know why they give me breakfast again when i literally just came an hour ago. Having two Pancakes in the same day is always a good thing. I took that to heart. I didn’t do anything today. Literally I was just playing games all day. There isn’t anything for me to do. I did everything I could do. No more filming or editing. All of that is done for. A Stay-At-Home order is in place and that just forces me to stay home on the weekends. All of the parks are closed. Nothing is fun anymore. Now a days, I just lay down and play games. The workload for online classes is light work. Not too heavy on me. I think it’s going to be a boring and long “break” with a virus going around. It’s going to be something we probably may never the see again. The world will definitely not be the same thing.

Lazy, Editing Blog

Today is Monday, March 30th, 2020. Today, was just an normal day. I don't do nothing special. I went to go get free breakfast at around 9:40. Left my house again at around 11 to go get lunch. They gave me both breakfast and lunch. I'm not going to be complicating tho. I did catch up on some school work though. I did an online class which I finished off with an Exam. Now where I have to Edit, That I do not know of. Editing for me right now is so boring because I have way too much time on my hands. I just added a little audio to the film so now it's golden. I won't upload it yet though. I have to do other things that have key due dates. But Editing is done. Come to my mind, and I really have to think about this. Did a virus really change our lives? This could be true or false. I know that the online learning stage is already in progress for me. I feel bad for the other kids though. They have to edit on like their phones or whatnot. It really must hurt them now to not edit during class. 90 mins and all of that was wasted. Friends were their biggest enemy.

A Boring Day, Filming Blog

Today is Thursday, March 26th, 2020. I just did a little bit of filming. I re did a part where i had to speak. While i was filming, I had to actually talk. I have a towel on my head because it was there at the moment of filming. After that scene was done. I had to make the an audio recording of the same exact thing i was speaking about. Filming today was boring. After doing nothing all day, do i think i really want to film at all? Maybe so. I mean, i still have the camera to film with. I still don’t know if i’m going to get in trouble for having it. The corona-virus is not even a blessing for school. It starts again on March 30th...but online. I guess i'm going to have to show the teacher the camera. It’s not broken at all because i’m not known to break other People’s things. I would be paying $500 if the camera isn’t in good shape. Really, the camera cost less than $200 on Amazon. I don’t know if the school is just greedy or just they were on something. Model numbers on devices like the camera that come in handy when it comes to me. It’s also nice that i know what things really costs so i don’t get ripped off. Anyways back to filming. I might do some tomorrow so i can get it done with. Probably i’m not even done with what i’m supposed to film. Who knows. As long as the Corona-virus has school closed...I’ll be filming.

The Best Re-Editng Blog.

Today is Sunday March 22nd, 2020. Okay, so here’s the breakdown. I’m done with the Re-film. Now i need to edit them back. I just realized that i was recording on the school SD card. It had 3 other projects on it. I don’t know why the other kids didn’t delete their projects or dumped it into the school computers but it’s whatever. The loose scenes and fighting scene are now into my editing software. I’m now ready to finish editing. I had to change the lighting on some of the scenes because it didn’t fit with the tone i was giving the audience. I had to make some voice recordings from my phone and transfer it on my computer. The reason why was because for a scene i had to film with the camera face me...sideways. I did a little lip syncing in the video so i had to had the audio to it. It make be choppy but it’s better than nothing. For the Fighting scene i had to first had part one. After that, i had to cut part one off and make part two seamlessly slide in with part one. It wasn’t that hard to do. For fun because i have nothing else to do, i made myself appear twice in the same video. How did i do that you might ask? I recorded the same video but me on different sides. I edited the video to split the sides into two. Changed the lighting on one side to match the other and boom! I got one nice little trick in editing. I just seen that i was part of my scene so i had to redo that scene and put a different shirt on. Re-edit it and i’m done with my movie. Now i have to wait a long time just to export this movie.

The Final Re-Filming Blog

Today is Wednesday, March 18th 2020. Well Re-Filming day did not happen. My friend can not come over due to the corona-virus. Their parents fear that they could just get the virus by just going to my home and i don’t blame them for that. Broward wants to be a messed up county and have people go to the beach during a crisis. The First county to be on lock down is Miami-Dade. We could be the next one on Lock down but we’ll have to see. Right now we had the 2nd most cases in Florida. At first we had the most cases in Florida but it slowly went down to 2nd most. What i was going to do before everything was cancelled we re-do one scene that had fighting in it. The Fighting scene need a 2nd part ( runaway) but originally i couldn’t film that because my friends had to go. Now what we have to do now is “runaway” from a virus. Also i had to make some of the scenes from the paper. I skipped a lot of scenes that was some time wasters. If i had make those scenes, the movie intro would look like a a lot of cut-away shots. I don’t want that look for my intro because that just sloppy. I’ll film some of my intro by myself but with no tripod. I must be lucky because i checked at a Camera on a Thursday and was due back on Monday. School was cancelled on a Saturday and i technically get to “keep” the camera til school opens. I might get in trouble for that, i might not. We wouldn’t know because school is closed. This virus really is in for something else then. I’ve never seen anything like this before.

Corona-virus Editing Blog

Today is Monday, March 16th, 2020. There's no school today so that means a lot of things. I have more time on the editing blogs. More time for editing in general. That's a good thing because we can start focusing on Editing. I'm basically done with my editing. All I need is to re-shoot some scenes and add them in. The titles are done. The effects are done. The project is mostly done at this point. Problem is, there's a virus going around the world. It's called the Corona-virus. Sounds like the beer name too! They say it's like the flu but it's messes with the lungs. People with underlying health conditions are are the greatest risk. I'm making sure that I get my re-shooting and reediting done during this tough period of time. I have to be careful though because the virus is airborne like the flu. So that means my computer which I edit on, can be a subject to the virus. I have to wipe it down everyday so it doesn't get dusk for bacteria. Also moving forward, there's not going to be any more school for the foreseeable future. I know this should be all about editing but this could cause weeks of information to be lost. For me, it's no problem because I don't have to see people and I can do my own thing with editing. It's bad because people who depend on Editing on the school computer is still subject to the dates things have to be done. That's one way to start spring break.

Almost Complete, Editing Blog

Today is Thursday March 12th, 2020. Currently I'm in the stages of making my movie, I finished editing all of the scenes so that it's all cut to where I wanted it to be. Now I started added titles to the films. Why? Because it's probably the next easiest thing to do in the editing process. I had to make a total of 15 titles. As of right now, I only have 14 titles because I still don't have music. Music in my film would be weird because it's mostly a silent film. Voice-overs will be done for scene one because my friend wanted to talk over the camera and read the scene description out-loud. After, those were done. I just chilled and seen the length of the video. It was just a tad under 1:50 at 1:45. So I probably have to film again for the 4th straight weekend. No tripod because I don't like carrying that around. Anyways, I have to finish off editing by adding effects to it. I'm trying to make my film as good as possible and better than everyone else's. I have the software that people my class don't have (Red Magic). They are just editing on Apple's iMovie and A slow Pinnacle Studios. It's funny to me because there's no way the film can be that food without a proper editing software. I'm lucky that I even have my own computer to do my own editing on.
