Genre Research with 2 MORE Genres.

Today is Jan 26th, 2020. The two other Genres i will be choosing is Action and Sci-Fi. In the Action genre, camera angles and shots that make an common appearance in action type films are Bird's eye view,  point of view, 2 shot, extreme close up and high angles. Camera movements that appear in action films are tracking, tilt and pans. Costumes in actions films are usually dressed up to fit the movie's theme ( such as Western action films are dressed like cowboys and cowgirls ). Lighting in action films usually has lighting that covers apart of the characters face  during intense moments in 1 v 1 scenes. Actors in actions films are some of Hollywood's best ( such as Jackie Chan, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger ). Make up, Props and Setting is based on what the action movie is about ( again going back to Western action films, looking like cowboys and cowgirls, .44 magnums, cowboy hats and boots, Swing doors when going into wooden bars). Setting depends on where the film is at ( back to the Western example, the middle of nowhere with snakes and a lot of dry land like a desert. Editing for the action film is really based on what's going on in the film like cross cutting to show a 2 people shot and ( such as the cutting out bloody scenes to keep an Rating for movies theater aka no NC-17 type movies ). Sounds goes with what the action film presents, like western action films will have a lot of dialogue in a crowd, with only 2 people, gun shots and bullets dropping. Elements in action films have physical stunts, chase scenes, fighting ( martial arts ) and destructive disasters ( always have explosions ). What I like about the Action Genre is the detail that can go into the film itself and the trill it has in scenes from time to time. What I dislike about the action genre is that sometimes you see the same thing over and over in films that have sequels ( like Kill Bill and the TON of blood that they have in every film in the series).

Sci-Fi camera angles and movements includes high angles, dutch shots, mediums shots, bird's eye view,  2 & 3 shots, extreme close up and low angles. Camera movements includes pans, flashing pan, tilt and tracking shot. Costumes in the Sci-Fi genre include super hero and futuristic outfits ( like Superman and Batman ). Lighting is a lot of bright colors and lights, it could be dark with bright theme to it as well. Actors are some of Hollywood's best like Chris Evans and Scarlett Johannson. Make up goes with the costumes that the actors wear so it's a tie in. Props and Setting go with the  Costumes like probably a cape for Superman ( i'll say ) and a city to would just either expand into more cities or go into more detail with just one home or place. Editing is Important to the Sci-Fi genre because it has to go with the scene such as into cross cutting, eye-line matching and graphic match. Sci-Fi sounds have ambient music and Foley studio sounds for suspense. Elements in the genre Sci-Fi is science based fiction, which goes out of the boarders of real life. What I like about Sci-Fi is the suspense scenes that can happen in the films. What I dislike about the Sci-Fi genre because it's too predictable, like very predictable ( aka hero always wins ).
